The Goddess is Water: Sacred States of Creation
Sacred states of creation begin with water; before there was land, before there was form, before there was breath—there was the primordial body of the Goddess. The beginning of everything did not emerge from emptiness; it emerged from Her waters. Across ancient traditions, this truth was remembered in different ways, but always carried the same essence: creation begins in the womb, and the womb is water. To understand the Goddess, we must understand water—because water reveals how She exists within all things. The Goddess is not limited to one form; She flows through many different sacred states of creation.
Understanding the Sacred States of Creation
The Goddess as Solid represents the Mother in form, seen in ice, earth, and the physical body. When water becomes solid, it takes shape as something that can be held, touched, and stood upon. This is the Goddess as Mother Earth—mountains, land, and stone are all expressions of Her made visible. This is where spirit slows down and becomes form. She is not separate from the Earth; She is the Earth. These sacred states of creation remind us that spirit and matter are one.
The Flow of Divine Liquid and Vapor
When water flows as a liquid, it becomes the Mother in motion—the womb and the life-giver. Oceans, rivers, and the amniotic fluid that holds life are all part of these sacred states of creation. She is the movement, rhythm, and emotion that carries life forward. When water rises into vapor, She becomes the Mother in spirit—the unseen breath and intuition that surrounds us. One Goddess, three sacred states of creation: solid, liquid, and vapor. Shifting and transforming, She remains true to Her nature, and because we are made of Her waters, we are living reflections of this divine design.
