Raven – Keeper of Secrets and Transformation
Long before roads and cities, before books and maps, the stories were carried on the wind.
And among those stories flew Raven.
Across many traditions of the North, Raven appears as more than a bird. Sometimes she is a teacher. Sometimes a creator. Sometimes a trickster. Sometimes the one who reveals what others have hidden.
Raven walks between worlds.
She reminds us that wisdom does not always come wrapped in certainty. Sometimes truth arrives through change, through mistakes, and through the unexpected.
For transformation is rarely comfortable.
The seed must break.
The caterpillar must dissolve.
The old stories must be questioned so new understanding may emerge.
Raven teaches that endings are not failures.
They are doorways.
What appears to be chaos may be creation unfolding.
What appears to be loss may become revelation.
And what appears to be darkness may simply be the place where new wings are forming.
Reflection
What chapter of your life is asking to be released so that something new may take flight?
Poem
When Raven Speaks
She carries no sword,
Only shadows and light.
She laughs at certainty,
And dances with mystery.
For she knows
That broken things
Can become sacred things.
She knows
That endings
Are only hidden beginnings.
And when Raven spreads her wings,
Forgotten dreams awaken,
Old fears lose their names,
And the sky remembers
That change itself
Is medicine.
