Did They Ever Really Leave? — The Erasure of the Mother Post VIII by Forealsister Designs

THE ERASURE OF THE MOTHER Post VIII: Did They Ever Really Leave?

They say the gods are gone.

That whatever existed… existed long ago.
That the stories are finished.
That what we live in now is just… human.

But if that were true—

Why does the structure remain?

What Didn’t Disappear

Look at the world as it is.

Hierarchy still governs.
Control still defines.
Separation from the source still feels normal.

The same patterns that replaced the Mother
are still operating.

Not ancient.

Present.

A System That Outlived the Story

If something ends, its influence fades.

But this didn’t fade.

It evolved.

The language changed.
The symbols changed.
The presentation changed.

But the foundation stayed the same.

Creation is still external.
Power is still above.
Connection is still broken.

That’s not disappearance.

That’s adaptation.

They Don’t Need to Be Seen

There was a time when power needed form.

Names. Faces. Stories.

Now it doesn’t.

Because once a system is accepted…

It no longer needs to prove itself.

It runs through:

  • belief
  • structure
  • repetition

Through what people inherit
without ever questioning.

The Perfect Disguise

The most effective control doesn’t look like control.

It looks like:

  • normal life
  • natural order
  • “the way things are”

And once something reaches that level—

You don’t resist it.

You live inside it.

The Ongoing Erasure

This was never just about the past.

It continues every time:

  • the Earth is treated as something to use
  • creation is reduced to production
  • identity is shaped by systems instead of source

The Mother is not just forgotten.

She is continuously overwritten.

Why Memory Matters

Because if you remember—

Everything shifts.

If creation was once something you came from…
then you are not separate.

If the source was never above you…
then hierarchy begins to lose its hold.

If the Mother was never chaos…
then the entire narrative fractures.

That is why forgetting is maintained.

So Ask Yourself

If nothing truly replaced these systems…

If the patterns never stopped…

If the disconnection still exists…

Then what actually ended?

Maybe the gods didn’t leave.

Maybe they became invisible.

Embedded in systems.
Woven into structure.
Hidden in what feels normal.

And maybe the real question isn’t where they went.

But why you were taught
they were gone.

They didn’t just rewrite the past.

They shaped the present.

And if that’s true—

Then remembering isn’t passive.

It changes everything.
