The Circle Is Never Broken

Look closely at nature.

Legacy is rarely built in grand moments.
It is built in ordinary ones.
A bedtime story.
A shared meal.
A family tradition.
A handwritten letter.
A seed planted in a garden.
A child watching how adults treat one another.
These are the quiet places where history is formed.
Many cultures describe life as a circle.
Though their beliefs differ, the image often represents continuity, connection, and renewal. It reminds us that endings and beginnings are often intertwined, and that each generation participates in a story larger than itself.
Science also reveals continuity.
The atoms that make up our bodies have existed for billions of years.
Our genes connect us to countless ancestors.
Our relationships shape those who come after us.
The story of humanity is both biological and cultural.
We inherit.

We pass forward.

The circle remains unbroken when we choose to remember.

It does not.
